You may find it difficult to follow the KM posts on a few trunk roads as these are being reconstructed and some reconstructed stretches are without KM posts. Travelling around Sri Lanka has become a very interesting, educational and pleasurable pastime with better facilities such as vehicle options and a better network of roads. While foreign tourists visit seasonally, local tourists on their journeys are a common site particularly during weekends and school vacations. In addition to places of interest and details pertaining to accommodation and such other facilities, it still retains its novel concept of road maps which was introduced six years back, and which has been updated in this edition.
